Development of the i

Last week I noticed my brother trying to teach my three year old niece to say "I" - "I would like an apple..., I would like some grapes..." But she insisted that it should be said, "Vaishali wants an apple, Vaishali wants some grapes...!" Have you ever tried arguing with a three year old? And what is more, she was right. Because right now at the age of three, she has not started to create her identity. When you are born, you are whole, complete and perfect. Then what happens? The illusions of life begin to shroud your vision of reality as you begin to create your own map of the world. In fact, the creation of the identity occurs because of the basic principle that we are "meaning making machines." Something happens in our life and we pass the information about the situation through the filters of deletion, distortion and generalization before the information is then represented to our conscious and unconscious mind. So we have added a meaning or further interpretation to what happened, without asking if this is a true representation of the situation. Between the Ages of 1 to 5 A situation occurs such that you think something is wrong. The meaning that you add to it is ,"I failed to be...." , so you decide to be "X". This is the first layer of your identity. Between the Ages of 5 to 15 A situation occurs such that you think that you don't belong to a particular group. The meaning that you add is, "I am different and I am not meant to be here", and so you decide to be "Y", such that you can "fit in"! This is the second layer of your identity. Beyond the Ages of 15 A situation occurs such that you think you are on your own. The meaning that you add to it is, "I am alone", and so you decide to be "Z", such that you can say you are unique and separate from everyone. This is the third layer of your identity. So in basic maths form, your identity I= X+Y+Z. Actually you discover that it's all a great big lie you have been telling yourself. When you walk the path of awareness and spirituality you will come to the point of asking the question "WHO AM I?" because consciously, deep down in your unconscious, and in your higher self, you know that the above formula is not true. Nothing is wrong, everything is perfect and is the way it is. It was just the meaning YOU attached to it. You do fit in and you are meant to be here, because here you are. You are not alone, in fact you are connected to the infinite energy which is everywhere and everywhen. This energy is conscious and blissful, and this energy is who you are. So you are connected to everyone and everything. The truth is You are still whole and complete and as beautiful as the day you were born, and you are at choice. The choice is you can be whoever you chose to be in each moment. All you have to do is be honest about the "I" and give it up. What would life be like if you were to redefine your own foundation? Because when you made those decisions you did not have enough life experiences to make the choices that would serve you in the future. You make decisions that will serve you in that instant because you did not know any better and some of those decisions may be holding you back from you experiencing your true nature. You are the director, creator, editor and actor of your own reality. You are at choice in every moment. SO who do you want to be? One question I am asked is that with this knowledge, could this whole process be avoided? The answer is no, because of the very way we are designed as meaning making machines, which is perfect, just like you. That just leaves me to conclude that there is so much we can learn from the honesty of a child.

Using a low interest credit card

Most credit card companies have low interest credit cards. Usually these will come with a low or no interest rate credit card for six to twelve months. On top of that, these cheap credit cards will go to a high fixed rate or high variable rate card at the end of the free period. These are great cards if you can play the debt off in the specified time; if you can't then they will cost you plenty over the long haul. They are also good for some purchases. Let's say your washer or dryer goes out, and it will cost more to repair than to replace. You can get this type of credit card to purchase your new washer and or dryer from any store you wish, and then have six months to pay off the $300 - $500 dollars instead of renting or waiting. With this type of card you will have to be willing to part with it once your time limit has expired, after that the rates are like the junk cards you get in the mail, upwards of 18 per cent interest. A few will say different, and be as low as 10% if you have perfect or close to perfect credit rating. If you have missed or were late in the last year, it could jump as high as 25%. There are a few people that want to use these cards as account transfer holders. It sounds good to put a 5 to 30 thousand dollar debt on these interest free cards for six months to a year. There are many downfalls to that type of thinking. If you think you are paying way to high of an interest rate now, then if you are a day late with these cards, you will find yourself at 21-25% interest right away. They make their money on you missing a payment or being late with one so they can take away the interest free for the rest of the time period. This brings us to how they make their money. The card is only interest free as long as you are not late. You can call in and make arrangements on these cards, but what you won't hear is that next month they will charge you interest right away, you broke the agreement with them. So your free card now has a 18 per cent or higher rate the rest of the six months to one year period, making it almost impossible to get a decent rate on a new card. These cheap credit cards are what I call "throw-a-way" cards. Use them once for a small purchase, then cut-them-up and throw them away. Remember even on your small purchase you cannot really make arrangements or be late. The key to using these low interest rate credit cards successfully whether for a down payment on a new car or buying a spa is to make sure the payments are within your budget before you actually use it. If there is any reason at all to not be able to make that monthly payment on your low-interest credit card you are out of luck. However if you are one of the lucky few that can make those payments on time for your new purchase, then by all means get the card now and get the things you want. Remember whether it is six months or twelve months will make a huge difference as well as begin able to make your payments. If your credit rating is good, there is no need to go without the things you want right away. Use the link below to compare different cards that you may want to have. Try not to go overboard; one card at a time should do you well. By getting one card every six months you basically get something above average for yourself or family a couple of times a year.

To bid or not to bid

A person's trash is another person's treasure. That simple line could be the reason why auctions exist today. But what are even better are online auctions. There you will find lots of different items worthy of second looks. Plus, you can win them with just a click. Seems so easy, right? But get this, like your ordinary auctions there could be a lot of different schemes, scams and modus operandi out there waiting to trick you. Once you experience being cheated, you could forever hold grudge to all online sellers, good or bad. Now we wouldn't want that happening, don't we? So in order to avoid being a victim of online frauds, take time to consider these things before bidding. 1. Before going into a totally unfamiliar place, we'd check it out first, right? We'd do research. Ask around if you have friends who love to bid online. Or better yet, check the auction site for customers' feedbacks. This is a great help especially if you are so sure of the item, except the seller. You could also check if you could "bid on approval" on the auction site. This means they will send you the item before you place your bid. 2. If you've finally found the most coveted thing, check the pictures and descriptions, whatever it is. 3. If you will be purchasing clothing, think of the wash and if it will just hang around your closet more than spending time outside in the daylight. Just really think about it because in auctions it may seem like you get an item at your price. For that to happen you will be bidding and the highest bidder will win. The more the bidders, the price could get higher. In this case, the sky is then the limit. Get it? 4. When you have decided that there is nothing more important in the world than that thing you want to bid on, well, you could just buy it right away (with buy now option), but at a much higher cost, of course. But you could wait and give it some more time. Try checking out stores around you. You might have missed seeing that item in the store brand-new. If you could have it brand new at a cheaper price, why bother bidding for it? If you still want to bid for the sake of bidding, then you suffer the consequences of paying the price for shipment that is if the seller is not in your area. 5. Having a good transaction is very vital. So make sure that you communicate with the seller the whole time during the transaction period. He could be cheating you, for all you know.

Three obstacles in building self confidence

Know what's holding you back It's great that you have decided to build your self-confidence. However, there are a few obstacles that can keep you from achieving your goal. Most of the time, these obstacles are so obvious that they do not seem like obstacles at all, and all you can see is that your resolve to be self-confident is not taking ou anywhere. Therefore, it is important to become aware of these seemingly harmless obstacles that have all the power to stop you in your path. Let's have a look at what could be the reasons that you are not moving ahead in top gear. Are you undisciplined? Some people simply have the talent to waste a lot of time without realizing it. They lack the self-discipline to stop their actions that waste time. Imagine a situation wherein you have a list of tasks to be completed successfully as a part of your confidence building program. However, the moment you enter your home you involuntarily grab the remote and start channel surfing on the idiot box. It's only after an hour that you realize that you have been vegetating in front of the t. V in the time you had scheduled to do other tasks. You realize that you have already disturbed your schedule. In a self-development program, it's you and only you who has the power to change yourself. Nobody will come to monitor your actions and progress. You have to keep a watch on your inner graph and see to it that it goes up! Avoid temptations and stick to your schedule. Are you lazy and keep procrastinating? Procrastination is one of the greatest and most silent killers of confidence. It does not let you complete your jobs and tasks in time; things keep mounting and finally you get overwhelmed by all the many things that have piled up and need your attention. The very basics of building confidence start with listing little things that are doable. You gain more confidence to take on greater tasks and responsibilities by successfully completing the lighter tasks at hand. However not being prompt and delaying Important things till they become urgent makes you miss the opportunity of working on your confidence and puts you in danger of falling back again into your earlier cycle, thereby wasting all the effort and energy you had put in to becoming aware of your low confidence trap and getting out of it. Does your old self keep pulling you back? Assume. Assume. Assume is the technique here. Assume that you are a different person with habits you wanted to inculcate. Imagine the way you would like to be. Imagine a self-confident you taking things in your stride. Then try to bring into your daily actions the way you have imagined yourself to be. "I dream by painting. Then I paint my dream" was the technique what the great painter Vincent Van Gogh followed. Your assumed self will make people. React to you in a different way, according to your new self. This will establish your new self to the world and will help you keep up the new self before it becomes a habit - a second nature! If you behave indecisively and helplessly, you will invoke proportionate reactions from people around you, thereby reinforcing your previous self. This throws you back again. Remember that you cannot get ahead if you keep looking back. Realize this and stop sliding back. Don't copy self-confidence. Do not try to become like someone else. One of the greatest mistakes that people make when trying to increase their low self-confidence is falling in love with an image of their icon who may be a sport star or a film star or any celebrity and then they try to be like them. This is one of the greatest mistakes that people can commit when trying in increase their self-confidence. You have to be yourself at all costs. Getting inspired is wonderful but merely aping these guys won't take you anywhere. There is no need for any two people in this universe to be exactly the same. The challenge is to be yourself in a world that is trying to make you like everyone else! Create a vision of YOUR life, and take action everyday. That's it.

German shepherd the facts every owner of this dog breed should know

Also known as the Alsatian, the German Shepherd is a 'young' breed, having only been recognized as a distinct breed in the last 90 years. The German Shepard can trace its roots back to a range of shepherding dogs in Germany, and some groups tried to informally breed this dog. This effort failed but in 1899, a new group formed. Der Verein fur Deutsche Schaeferhunde was founded by Max von Stephanitz, who wanted to breed an all purpose working dog. The German Shepherd came to the United Sates in 1908 with soldiers impressed by the courage and abilities of this dog. German Shepherds will reach an average height of 22 to 26 inches, weight of 77 to 85 pounds and live an average of 13 years. There are a wide variety of coats in this breed. Some German Shepherds are longhaired and some are shorthaired. The color is most often black and tan, but can also be sable, all black, blue and liver and white. The one thing all German Shepard coats have in common is that they shed profusely, and shed worse during their shedding season. Daily brushing usually helps combat the shedding, and German Shepherds should only be bathed occasionally. Almost all German Shepherds are described as self-confident and loyal. German Shepherds are highly intelligent and often times used as police dogs, rescue dogs and guide dogs. German Shepherds make excellent guard dogs and are very loyal to their family. They make excellent protectors, barking when someone unfamiliar is approaching. German Shepherds do make good family pets and will guard the children of 'their' family. They will tolerate the poking and prodding children are prone to do. However, they are sometimes unaware of their size and power relative to a small child and may indiscriminately knock them over. A German Shepherd and child should always be watched to avoid this. German Shepherds can survive apartment living if given enough exercise regularly and given enough activities. If left alone too long or not stimulated enough, German Shepherds will become bored and destructive. They enjoy being in the company of their human family but not other pets. As a working dog that likes to please, a German Shepherd will do very well with obedience training. German Shepherds are prone to some genetic disorders including hip and elbow dysplasia, blood disorders, digestive problems, epilepsy, chronic eczema, keratitis (inflammation of the cornea), dwarfism and flea allergies. There is a website that has great information on German Shepherds and most other breeds of dogs. It has details that pertain to a dog breeds health, grooming, living conditions, best food choices and more, the website is called: Dog And Cat Facts, and can be found at this url: dogandcatfacts By Robert W. Is a home equity loan credit for you

Some of the most common credit methods being used in this dyes is using a single line of credit to borrow against the equity of a real property. These home equity credit loans are made available by a large variety of lenders in a lot of various ways. Although this can make attaining a loan seem quite easy, the fact is that this diversity can actually make it pretty hard for a person to decide which home equity credit loan to take advantage of. Where is the difference? Well, the principal difference of the various types of home equity credit loans being offered today is in the various rates and payments. There are home equity credit loans which require people to pay lower monthly fees but then require a large payment at the end of the loan period. Others require the large payment to be the initial payment and this would mean that the subsequent payments can be lower. Others may require you to pay high, yet constant amounts of money. Others have certain fees attached to them. Upfront closing costs, These are fees which lending companies may charge you for opening a home equity credit loan. These include attorney's fees, application fees and other types of expenses involved in approving your home equity credit loan. These fees can greatly increase the cost of your home equity credit loan. This is especially true if you only intend to use a bit of the money you will be borrowing. If this is your intention, then you might want to try and negotiate with the lending company to give you some leeway and pay for some of those expenses. Continuing costs, These are fees that the lending company may choose to charge you for the privilege of using the home equity credit loan. Often, this comes in the form of a membership or a privilege charge. This fee requires to be paid in order for you to use the line of credit on your home equity credit loan. It is also common that a financing company will want you to pay a service charge every time you make use of the proceeds of the home equity credit loan. Is the home equity credit loan for you? Do you think you can handle the responsibility of paying your debts on time? Remember that you are putting your home on the line when you avail of this type of loan. Because of this, you have to learn how to properly budget your cash and keep your finances always in the green.
